Say No to Tax-Paid Abortions!

Congressman Chris Smith (R-NJ) is re-introducing the “No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act” which will codify all the various restrictions on tax dollars paying for abortions into one law, rather than a series of restrictions which must be renewed annually. Republicans wishing to co-sponsor this bill need to contact Cong. Smith by Wednesday, Jan. 19.

Rep. Smith also is asking the Appropriations Committee via letter to undo the mischief which the Democrat Congress did in allowing federal tax dollars to be allocated incorrectly in D.C. and thus pay for abortions in the District. If this revision is enacted, the funding would be correctly allocated and federal funds could no longer pay for abortions. Republicans who wish to sign onto the letter should contact Rep. Smith by Friday, Jan. 28.
