Should Congress Investigate Planned Parenthood?

Recent undercover videos and public investigations have revealed a large number of illegal practices by Planned Parenthood and its affiliates. These abuses include circumventing parental notification laws, covering up sex trafficking, and failure to report sexual abuse and rape cases. These activities lay a strong groundwork for further inquiry into Planned Parenthood's policies and procedures and use of government funds. Rep. Clifford Stearns has launched such an investigation in his role as Chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee Investigations subcommittee.

But there has been some resistance from pro-abortion advocates in Congress, and some are trying to derail this Congressional investigation. No Congressional Representative should have a problem with the truth coming out as to exactly what Planned Parenthood or its affiliates do with tax funds.
